I offer individual and couples therapy for women, men, couples, LGBTQI and gender-diverse adolescents and adults. I have successfully worked with individuals and couples of many different ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations and identities and welcome all into my practice.
I utilize structured, evidence-based approaches and encourage clients to identify and build upon their strengths to create positive changes in their lives. Common goals for therapy include restoring healthy sexuality and relationships, alleviating symptoms of depression and anxiety, increasing coping and communication skills, healing past trauma or loss, and transforming unproductive patterns into healthier life choices, emotions, and behaviors.
As a licensed mental health counselor and clinical sexologist, I assist clients in reducing negative symptoms related to relationships, feelings, or difficult life transitions. The following list includes some of the most common problems that I have successfully helped clients resolve:

- Marital Counseling and Pre-Marital counseling
- Cross-cultural relationships
- Communication with partners, parents or children
- Difficult break-ups
- Self-Esteem and growth
- Abandonment issues
- Co-Dependency
- Problems with relationships, intimacy, and sexuality
- Infidelity

- Sexual abuse
- Gender Dysphoria
- Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersexed issues
- Female sexual dysfunction and disorders (i.e. problems with arousal, desire, pain, etc.)
My treatment approach is based primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This includes challenging expectations and self-talk as well as investigating patterns to help you better understand yourself, determine your goals, and help you achieve them. I focus on educating the client or couple, utilizing their strengths and providing techniques to overcome existing conflicts. My goal is to help you improve your life and your relationships while developing skills to manage future concerns independently.
As a Clinical Sexologist, I work with couples and individuals who are having problems in their sexual functioning or who are unsatisfied with the quality or frequency of their sexual activity. While I help these clients with a wide range of sexual concerns, I specialize in intimacy issues as they relate to the relationship (i.e. low sexual desire or desire discrepancies, sexual inhibitions, recovering from infidelity, shame or sexual anxiety) as well as individual understanding of one’s relationship sexual history and preferences. As with any kind of psychotherapy, there is never any physical touching, disrobing, or sexual activity of any kind. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
